It takes patience, time, and of heart to open and grow a salon. We are endlessly grateful that The Rare Bird didn't just survive its first year in Alexandria, we grew from a single suite into a full salon, built an incredible team, and found a community that has supported us every step of the way.

We want to celebrate this milestone with the people who helped make it possible, that means you. Come party with us, tour the space you've watched (and helped) come to life, and enjoy an afternoon dedicated to community, connection, and local small businesses.

We can't think of a better way to mark this milestone than by sharing the spotlight with other incredible small businesses in our area. Throughout the event, our guests will get to enjoy services and offerings from:
